Save me from myself... here is my latest thoughts on my kitchen:
Keep upper cabinets "Picket Fence White" - a basic white
Paint walls "Dairy Country" - a creamy gray white
Paint lower cabinets a light gray
Paint floor charcoal
Recover seats of chairs in.... bright pink
Is that crazy?
I already have a few pink splashes with kitchenaide appliances and some mixing bowls and such... but mostly my dishes are white. As much as I love pink, I thought it would be fun to have a popping pink kitchen... but not completely retro pink. It just seems like I am seeing sage green cabinets everywhere and I already have a sage living room....
Thoughts? Am I crazy?

No, I don't think it is crazy!! Pink is really in style these days and I think it will look wonderful with the gray and white! Go for it!!
heck no! it sounds gorgeous!! be sure the gray on the cabinets is dark enough though. send a picture when you are done, i can't wait!!!

My sister and her husband flipped an old 50's house a few years ago. Their next-door-neighbors were two, little old maids, who had an original 50's kitchen with pink appliances. It looked as good as the day it was built, I'm sure.
I think you're headed in a great direction with your kitchen. I'm loving all the gray and white that's popular right now.
I think it sounds very interesting. I would like to see it.
